Honesty

We don’t live in a society where honesty is appreciated. We don’t want to face the truth. We are happy with our perfect, virtual, Instagram life. We most often realize what exactly is going wrong with our life. But we choose not to act on it. We tend to procrastinate. Not many of our friends will be open and honest and may be tell us “Look man, you need to get your shit together.”

Majority just play the passive game. They just play along. It’s not expected for us to believe that others want us to succeed. In the end the only living being with the possible exception of your dog, that truly, actually cares about you is no one but yourself. (Well that’s a topic for a whole another blog.)

Out of the majority of people that you are gonna meet in your life, at most 3-4 people(even if you are extroverted or extremely popular) might actually care about you. They give you honest feedbacks. They actually want you to succeed. And they find happiness in the process. Learn to differentiate them. Learn to appreciate them. I’m privileged to have a few. If you don’t have such a person in your life, may be you can be that person for someone else. Be honest, be sincere, don’t talk things behind others back. Don’t gossip. Get serious. You’ll make the world a better place.
