When we are searching for answers and start looking deep, we realize that there are no definite answers. When we dissect a question with several why’s, how’s and what’s we often end up with a may be/may be not. But no, we don’t like uncertainty. Identifying our-selves with something gives our neurotic self a sense of belonging. But it also creates the distinction of us Vs them. Sometimes we actively try to suppress that part of us which doesn’t fit with our perceived identity. We deny, rationalize, project, play victim and so on. One way to become free from this mental gymnastics is to see world not as just black and white, but different shades of gray.
